Petroleum Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Petroleum Engineer to join our team in Ar-Ruwais. As a Petroleum Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting data to determine the most efficient and cost-effective methods for extracting oil and gas from underground reservoirs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis to determine the potential productivity of oil and gas reservoirs
- Design drilling plans and techniques to extract oil and gas from reservoirs
- Monitor drilling operations and make adjustments as needed
- Develop plans for enhanced oil recovery techniques
- Collaborate with geologists, geophysicists, and other engineers to evaluate reservoir characteristics
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards
- Use computer simulations to model reservoir behavior
- Analyze data from well tests to monitor production rates and identify potential issues
- Prepare reports on drilling operations, production rates, and reservoir performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry
- Strong understanding of drilling methods, completion techniques, and production optimization
- Proficiency in computer modeling software used in petroleum engineering
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
