Junior Accountant for Contract Position in Doha, Qatar

We are currently seeking a Junior Accountant for a contract position in Doha, Qatar. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant with a preference for Indian nationality to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in the Middle East region. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing and analyzing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. This is a contract position with the potential for extension or permanent placement based on performance. The salary for this role is $1300 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Prepare and analyze financial statements
- Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Handle general accounting duties such as accounts payable/receivable and payroll
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure efficient accounting processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and within a team
