Security Analyst


As a Security Analyst in our company, you will play a crucial role in protecting our organization's sensitive information and systems from potential cyber threats. You will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing and responding to security alerts and incidents, as well as conducting regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses in our systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor security systems and tools for potential threats, breaches or vulnerabilities.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential risks.
- Investigate security incidents and provide timely response and resolution.
- Analyze security logs and reports to identify any suspicious activity or patterns.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, guidelines and standards.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure adherence to security best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies and threat intelligence.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- Proven work experience as a Security Analyst or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), web filtering tools, data encryption methods etc.
- Familiarity with security assessment tools such as Nessus, Metasploit etc.
- Experience with incident response procedures and disaster recovery plans.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH are preferred but not mandatory.
