IT Manager


As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the technological infrastructure of our company in Umm-Salal. You will manage a team of IT professionals and ensure that all systems and equipment are functioning efficiently. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our company's technology needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the IT department, including hardware, software, and network maintenance
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure data security and system reliability
- Manage a team of IT professionals, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating performance
- Collaborate with other departments to identify their technology needs and provide solutions accordingly
- Monitor technology trends and make recommendations for upgrades or new systems as needed
- Ensure that all systems are backed up regularly and data is secure
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that arise and find solutions to minimize downtime
- Manage vendor relationships for hardware, software, and services procurement
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans in case of system failures or emergencies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in an IT management role
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, security protocols, and data management techniques
- Experience with budgeting and resource allocation for technology projects
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical individuals in a clear manner
- Proven problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines

Preferred qualifications:
While not required, the following qualifications would be considered an asset:
- Master's degree in Information Technology or related field
- Experience working in a similar role within the Indian community in Umm-Salal
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
- Experience working with cloud-based systems and virtual environments
- Knowledge of IT best practices and industry standards

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month for this full-time position, with potential for growth and advancement within the company.
