Housekeeping Manager
The Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department in a busy hotel located in Umm-Said, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in housekeeping management and possess excellent leadership and communication skills. This role requires a strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. The Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. Fluency in Malayalam or Hindi is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department including scheduling, training, and supervision of staff
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, ordering replacements as needed
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are being met
- Handle guest complaints or requests promptly and efficiently
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction
- Monitor budget and expenses for the housekeeping department
- Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in housekeeping management within a hotel setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English, Malayalam or Hindi preferred
- Proven track record of maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of budgeting, inventory management, and purchasing procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Salary: 1100$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
