Hotel Maintenance Engineer

As a Hotel Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all equipment and facilities in our hotel in Al-Rayyan. Your primary duties will include conducting regular inspections, identifying and troubleshooting issues, performing preventative maintenance, and coordinating with other departments to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our guests. You must have strong knowledge and experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance. Knowledge of fire safety codes and regulations is also required. Good communication skills are essential as you will be working closely with other hotel staff. This position may require you to work on-call or during evenings and weekends to address urgent maintenance needs. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. Prior experience in a hospitality setting is preferred.

Salary: $1700 per month.

City: Al-Rayyan.

Nationality Preference: Indian.

Language Requirement: English proficiency required.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of all equipment and facilities in the hotel.
- Identify and troubleshoot any issues or malfunctions.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks on a regular schedule.
- Coordinate with other departments to address maintenance needs.
- Ensure compliance with fire safety codes and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with other hotel staff.
- Be available for on-call or evening/weekend work as needed.
- Keep records of all maintenance work performed.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in building maintenance, preferably in a hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
