Front Desk Receptionist for English Speaking Hotel in Al-Rayyan, Qatar



We are currently hiring a Front Desk Receptionist for our English speaking hotel in Al-Rayyan, Qatar. As an essential member of our hotel team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our guests and ensuring their overall satisfaction during their stay. This role requires fluency in English and proficiency in Malayalam.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel
- Check-in and check-out guests using our computer system
- Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Answer phone calls and transfer them to the appropriate department
- Process payments from guests using cash or credit cards
- Coordinate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely room availability for check-ins
- Assist with luggage storage and retrieval for guests when necessary

Requirements:
- Fluency in English is a must; proficiency in Malayalam is preferred but not required
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in a front desk or customer service role
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Customer-oriented and friendly attitude
- Familiarity with computer systems such as Microsoft Office Suite, reservation software, etc.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1800 per month.
