Phlebotomist - Al-Khor, Egypt



We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team in Al-Khor, Egypt. This is a contract position with a salary of 1100$. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for drawing blood from patients and preparing samples for laboratory testing.

Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture on patients
- Label and document samples accurately
- Transport samples to the laboratory for testing
- Monitor patient's vital signs during blood collection
- Ensure proper disposal of used needles and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures
- Provide excellent customer service to patients

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certificate or diploma in phlebotomy preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Phlebotomist
- Knowledge of proper venipuncture techniques and medical terminology
- Proficient in using medical equipment such as needles, lancets, and blood collection tubes
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Must be able to handle stressful situations with patience and empathy
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends
