Job Title: Housekeeping Manager


We are in need of a skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team in Umm-Said, one of the fastest growing cities in Africa. As a Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping department and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and a clean, comfortable environment during their stay.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and train a team of housekeeping staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and efficiency
- Create and maintain cleaning schedules for rooms, common areas, and other facilities
- Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies to maintain stock
- Conduct regular inspections of all guest rooms to ensure they meet quality standards
- Respond promptly to guest requests or complaints regarding housekeeping services
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Maintain budgetary guidelines for the housekeeping department
- Implement and enforce proper safety procedures for all staff members

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Housekeeping Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, equipment, and products
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and cost control measures
- Fluent English proficiency is required; knowledge of other languages is a plus
