Speech Therapist

Speech therapists are highly trained professionals who work with individuals to help improve their communication skills. They assess, diagnose, and treat various speech and language disorders, including articulation difficulties, stuttering, and language delays. As a speech therapist at our clinic in Al-Khor, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse population of clients and make a meaningful impact on their lives.



The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of 2 years of experience working as a speech therapist. You must be a licensed speech therapist with a Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders. In this role, you will provide individualized therapy sessions to clients of all ages with various speech and language disorders. You will also work closely with families to provide education and support.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine each client's specific needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Provide therapy sessions in both group and individual settings
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for clients
- Educate families on strategies for supporting their loved ones' communication skills at home
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a speech therapist
- Valid license/certification from an accredited institution
- Excellent communication skills (in English)
- Experience working with children and adults with speech and language disorders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
