Long Haul Truck Driver


We are currently hiring a Long Haul Truck Driver for our company based in Haur-Fakkan. The ideal candidate will be an Indian national with excellent English speaking skills and at least 2 years of experience as a truck driver. This is a contract job with a salary of 1700$, without accommodation.

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods over long distances. You will be required to plan routes, navigate through traffic and weather conditions, and ensure timely delivery of goods. You must have a valid commercial driver's license and a clean driving record.

Key Responsibilities:
- Transport goods from one location to another over long distances
- Plan routes to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips, reporting any issues to the supervisor
- Maintain accurate logs of working hours, miles driven, and fuel costs
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Perform basic maintenance on vehicles such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, etc.
- Report any accidents or incidents immediately

Requirements:
- Must be an Indian national with excellent English speaking skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a truck driver
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Clean driving record
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills
- Physical stamina and ability to work long hours

Working Conditions:
This is a contract job that requires the driver to be away from home for extended periods of time. The working hours may vary depending on the delivery schedule. The job does not include accommodation.
