Position: Lead Project Engineer - Oil & Gas

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the single point of responsibility as Cluster Lead, mentoring and developing local Project Engineers

• Develop comprehensive scopes of work in collaboration with Company project engineers to achieve specified deliverables

• Create cost and schedule control estimates, and manage key project documentation

• Oversee all aspects of project reporting, interface management, variance logs, audit reports, and resolution of project issues

• Ensure efficient use of manpower and material resources to deliver projects within budget, on schedule, and to quality and HSE standards

• Promote the training and development of Omani personnel to assume project engineering roles

Drive a planning - execute - measure - feedback work loop methodology in project engineering.

Qualifications:

• Degree in a relevant engineering discipline (B.Sc./M.Sc./B.Eng.)

• Minimum of 18 years of experience in Project Management of Oil and Gas Facilities

Experience & Skills:

• Proven experience in managing sour facilities projects

• Strong knowledge of project cost control and planning systems

• Ability to coordinate a team of project engineers

• Proficiency in planning software tools such as Primavera

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team

Salary: negotiable

Work Schedule: 5 or 6 days depending on project assignment and location

Duration: 5 years, renewable every 2 years as per Oman Labour Law
