Information Security Analyst



An Information Security Analyst is responsible for protecting an organization's sensitive and confidential information by identifying potential threats and implementing security measures. They are responsible for monitoring network and system activity to detect any suspicious behavior or breaches, conducting vulnerability assessments, and implementing security protocols. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of information security principles, experience with security tools and technologies, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders. This position may require working on an on-call basis and may involve occasional travel. Salary for this position is 1400$ per month without accommodation. This job is open to Indian nationals in Umm-Salal or those willing to relocate.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor network activity and investigate any potential security breaches
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement necessary security measures
- Develop and maintain information security policies, procedures, and standards
- Provide support for incident response activities
- Stay up-to-date on current trends and developments in the field of information security
- Communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
- Participate in creating disaster recovery plans
- Provide training and guidance for employees on best practices for maintaining information security

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in information security or a related role
- Strong knowledge of information security principles, practices, tools, and technologies
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or Qualys
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as HIPAA or GDPR
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
