Librarian - Dubai


We are hiring a Librarian to join our team in Dubai. This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a passion for books and library science. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
- Manage library operations, including cataloging, circulation, and collection development
- Assist library patrons with research inquiries and provide recommendations for reading materials
- Plan and implement programs and events to promote the library's services and resources
- Train and supervise library staff, including volunteers and interns
- Maintain accurate records of library materials, circulation statistics, and budget expenditures
- Stay informed about current trends in library science, technology, and literature

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a library setting
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
- Knowledge of current trends in library technology and information resources
- Fluency in English (other languages are a plus)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Salary:
Salary for this position is $1000 per month.

Location:
This position is located in Dubai.

Preference:

Note:
This is not an entry-level position. Previous experience working as a librarian is required. However, we do encourage fresh graduates with relevant qualifications to apply as well.
