Speech Therapist

A reputable speech therapy clinic in Lusail is seeking a qualified and passionate Speech Therapist to join our team. As a Speech Therapist, you will work with patients of all ages to diagnose and treat speech, language, and communication disorders. You will use various techniques and tools to help patients improve their communication skills and enhance their quality of life. This is a contract position with a salary of $1200 per month, with the potential for growth within the company.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Valid license to practice as a Speech Therapist in Lusail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Knowledge of various speech therapy techniques and tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in patients
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
- Use various techniques such as articulation therapy, phonological therapy, and fluency therapy to improve patient's communication skills
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plan accordingly
- Educate caregivers on how to support the patient's progress at home
- Maintain accurate records of patient sessions and progress reports
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals involved in the patient's care

Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Knowledge of alternative communication methods such as sign language or augmentative and alternative communication devices
- Previous experience working in a clinical setting or similar role
