Speech Therapist
We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Speech Therapist to join our team in Al-Khor, Qatar. As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial evaluations to determine the individual's speech and language abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Provide therapy sessions to improve speech, language, and communication skills
- Educate individuals and their families on techniques to improve communication at home
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for the individual
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate records of treatment sessions and progress reports
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid license to practice as a Speech Therapist in Qatar (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with individuals of all ages
- Ability to create engaging therapy sessions tailored to the individual's needs
- Previous experience working with individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders is preferred but not required
