Job Title: Senior Accountant - Dubai


We are a leading company in Dubai, seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company and ensuring compliance with accounting principles.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial records including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision making
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to identify any discrepancies or issues
- Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with local tax laws
- Review and approve journal entries, general ledger accounts, and month-end closing activities
- Monitor budgeting processes and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Accountant or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, laws, and regulations in Dubai
- Proficient in using accounting software such as Quickbooks or SAP
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Experience working with Indian clients is preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
