Job Title: Accountant - Umm-al-Qaiwain

We are a growing company based in Umm-al-Qaiwain and we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. This is a contract position with a salary of 1600$. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial records of our company and ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Record day-to-day financial transactions in the general ledger
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections
- Reconcile bank statements and other accounts on a regular basis
- Conduct month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws
- Keep up-to-date with accounting regulations and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
- Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards (GAAP)
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
