Petroleum Engineer



We are seeking a highly skilled Petroleum Engineer to join our team in Lusail, Qatar. As a Petroleum Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the drilling and extraction of oil and gas from underground reservoirs. You will also be involved in analyzing data and creating models to determine the most efficient methods for extracting these resources.

Key Responsibilities:

- Designing and implementing drilling plans to extract oil and gas from underground reservoirs
- Conducting geological surveys to identify potential drilling locations
- Analyzing data from well tests, production rates, and other sources to optimize extraction processes
- Creating computer models to simulate reservoir behavior and predict future production rates
- Developing cost estimates for drilling operations and monitoring expenses throughout the process
- Collaborating with geologists, geophysicists, and other experts to evaluate drilling sites
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations during all stages of the drilling process
- Monitoring production levels and implementing strategies to increase efficiency and profitability

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in petroleum engineering or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of drilling techniques, reservoir management, fluid mechanics, and geology
- Familiarity with software programs such as Petrel, Eclipse, or CMG
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and create accurate models
- Good project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- A strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Willingness to work in remote locations on a regular basis

This is a contract position offering a salary of $1100 per month. Free visa sponsorship and ticket will be provided.
