Accountant vacancy in Doha Qatar

Senior Accountant

We are a well-established company in Doha, seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in accounting and excellent analytical skills.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting
- Develop and maintain budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Conduct month-end and year-end close processes
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and assist with tax filings
- Monitor and analyze variances in budget vs actual expenses
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes and procedures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (CPA preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and local tax regulations
- Proficient in MS Office and accounting software (SAP preferred)
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1200$ per month for this position.

This job is based in Doha, Qatar.

Preference will be given to Indian candidates.

Language:
Fluency in English is not required for this position.

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience is required for this role.
