Job Title: Phlebotomist for Blood Collection Center in Al-Khor

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our team at a blood collection center in Al-Khor. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for drawing blood from patients and preparing it for laboratory testing or donation. You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to put patients at ease during the blood collection process. This position requires attention to detail, as well as knowledge of proper blood collection techniques and safety procedures. A minimum of one year experience as a Phlebotomist is preferred. This position offers a salary of 1200$ per month and is open to all nationalities.

Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and explain the blood collection process
- Verify patient information and ensure proper identification
- Draw blood from patients using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Label and properly store blood samples for testing or donation
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical histories and test results
- Follow safety protocols to prevent contamination or injury
- Monitor patient reactions during and after blood collection, providing assistance if needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Certification or training in phlebotomy from an accredited program
- Minimum of one year experience as a Phlebotomist in a medical setting
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Knowledge of proper blood collection techniques, including venipuncture, fingersticks, heelsticks, etc.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and HIPAA regulations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Working Conditions:
This position is full-time (40 hours per week) with potential for overtime. The work schedule may include evenings, weekends, or holidays. The blood collection center operates in a sterile and controlled environment, with potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens. Proper protective equipment will be provided.
