Logistics Coordinator


We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Sharjah. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all aspects of the transportation and delivery of goods from suppliers to customers. This includes managing inventory levels, tracking shipments, and ensuring timely and efficient delivery to meet customer demands.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with suppliers and carriers to schedule pick-up and delivery of goods.
- Track shipments and monitor inventory levels to ensure timely delivery.
- Communicate with customers regarding order status, delays, or any issues that may arise.
- Prepare shipping documentation such as bills of lading, customs forms, and invoices.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
- Ensure compliance with all transportation laws and regulations.
- Identify areas for cost savings in logistics operations.
- Collaborate with other departments such as sales, production, and purchasing to optimize supply chain processes.

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Logistics Coordinator or similar role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of logistics processes, including transportation regulations, customs procedures, and supply chain management principles.
- Proficient in using computer systems for record keeping and tracking shipments.
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field.
- Experience working in the logistics industry in Sharjah or UAE.
- Knowledge of Arabic language is an advantage.

We offer a competitive salary of 1100$ per month along with visa sponsorship. This is a full-time job with no English language requirement. Accommodation is not provided. We strongly encourage applications from Egyptian candidates. This position is open for both men and women.
