Senior Accountant


We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant for our company in Sharjah. This position is open to Indian nationals with a strong command of English and at least 5 years of experience in accounting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This is a full-time role with a salary of 1800$. Women are encouraged to apply for this position. Part-time options can also be considered based on the candidate's availability.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Monitor budgetary control and prepare budget reports.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all tax filings.
- Coordinate with external auditors for year-end audits.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
- Train and supervise junior accounting staff.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks).
- Attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
