Senior Petroleum Engineer


We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Petroleum Engineer to join our team in Ar-Ruwais. As a Senior Petroleum Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of oil and gas production, including drilling operations, well completions, and reservoir management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies for oil and gas production optimization
- Conduct reservoir studies and analyze data to identify potential drilling locations
- Design and oversee drilling operations, including selecting appropriate equipment and techniques
- Monitor well performance and make recommendations for production improvements
- Manage well completions, including selecting appropriate completion methods
- Oversee reservoir management activities, such as water flooding or enhanced oil recovery projects
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of production activities
- Monitor market trends and make recommendations for cost-effective production methods

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field
- At least 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on production engineering
- Extensive knowledge of drilling techniques, well completions, and reservoir management
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data sets
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with other teams
