Livestock Specialist


The Livestock Specialist will be responsible for the health and well-being of our livestock in Abu-Dhabi. This individual will work closely with the farm team to ensure proper care, handling, and management of the animals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of animal behavior and physiology, as well as experience in handling and treating livestock.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor the health and behavior of livestock on a daily basis
- Provide necessary medical care and treatment to sick or injured animals
- Maintain accurate records of all veterinary treatments and procedures
- Ensure proper nutrition and feeding for all animals
- Oversee breeding programs and maintain accurate breeding records
- Implement biosecurity measures to prevent disease outbreaks
- Train farm staff on proper animal handling techniques
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in livestock areas

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with livestock
- Knowledge of animal behavior, physiology, and nutrition
- Ability to handle large animals safely
- Experience in administering medical treatments to animals
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in Malayalam preferred
