Livestock Specialist


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Livestock Specialist to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As a Livestock Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the health and well-being of our livestock, including cows, goats, sheep, and camels.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure proper nutrition and feeding for all livestock
- Monitor and maintain the health of all animals
- Administer vaccinations and medications as needed
- Oversee breeding programs and ensure proper care for pregnant animals
- Manage herd rotation to prevent overgrazing
- Maintain accurate records of animal health and production
- Train and supervise livestock workers on proper care techniques
- Collaborate with veterinarians as needed for advanced medical care

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience working with livestock
- Knowledge of animal nutrition, breeding, health management, and production processes
- Strong communication skills in English (Malayalam proficiency is a plus)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Physically fit to handle the demands of the job in various weather conditions
