Senior Petroleum Engineer


We are currently hiring a Senior Petroleum Engineer to join our team in Lusail, Qatar. As a Senior Petroleum Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing strategies to extract oil and gas from underground reservoirs. You will also be involved in evaluating the potential productivity of new oil and gas wells and optimizing production from existing wells.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting research and analysis to assess the potential of new oil and gas fields
- Designing drilling plans and strategies for extracting oil and gas from reservoirs
- Analyzing data from well tests to determine well productivity
- Developing production plans to optimize output from existing wells
- Collaborating with geologists, geophysicists, and other engineers to develop comprehensive field development plans
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards
- Evaluating the performance of drilling contractors and service companies
- Providing technical support to on-site operations staff
- Keeping up-to-date with new technologies and industry developments

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in petroleum engineering
- Proven track record of successful project management
- Strong knowledge of reservoir engineering principles
- Familiarity with industry software such as Petrel, Eclipse, or CMG
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills
- Adaptable to work in a fast-paced environment

Salary: 1800$ per month

Location: Lusail, Qatar
