Material Handler - Sharjah, UAE


We are in need of a skilled Material Handler to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for overseeing the movement and storage of materials within our warehouse. Your main duties will include loading and unloading materials, organizing inventory, and ensuring that all materials are properly labeled and stored.

To excel in this role, you must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail. You should also have previous experience working with various types of materials and the ability to operate forklifts and other equipment. Being physically fit is also important as this job may require heavy lifting.

Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming materials and verify their quantity and quality
- Load and unload materials from trucks using forklifts or other equipment
- Organize inventory and ensure that all items are properly labeled and stored
- Keep track of material shortages or damages and report them to the supervisor
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
- Operate forklifts or other equipment as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in material handling is a plus
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or similar role
- Knowledge of inventory management principles
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects
- Good communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)

This is a contract job with a salary of 1600$ per month. Accommodation will not be provided.
