We are seeking a highly organized and knowledgeable Librarian to join our team at a prestigious library in Al-Kuwait. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection of books, periodicals, and other materials. You will also assist patrons in finding resources and provide information and research assistance.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection of books, periodicals, and other materials
- Catalog and classify new materials using the Dewey Decimal System
- Assist patrons in finding resources and provide information and research assistance
- Create displays and promote library programs and events
- Maintain accurate records of library materials and patron activity
- Train new staff members on library policies and procedures
- Keep up-to-date with current trends in literature and technology for libraries

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Previous experience working as a librarian preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to assist patrons of all ages and backgrounds
- Knowledge of the Dewey Decimal System and other library cataloging systems
- Familiarity with various reference sources such as online databases, encyclopedias, etc.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluency in English is preferred but not required

Salary: $1000 per month

This position is open to Malayalees or Egyptians who meet the requirements. This is a part-time job with accommodation provided if needed.
