Senior Accountant


As a Senior Accountant for our company, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all financial activities of the organization. This includes maintaining financial records, preparing and analyzing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, GL and payroll
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

Requirements:
- Proven working experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Experience with creating financial statements
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
- Excellent accounting software user experience (i.e. Quickbooks)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification is preferred
