Housekeeping Manager



We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Housekeeping Manager to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel in Umm-Said. As a Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for managing and training a team of housekeepers to ensure that all rooms, public areas, and facilities are kept clean and well-maintained. This is a full-time position that requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise housekeeping staff, including scheduling shifts, assigning tasks, and conducting performance evaluations
- Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards
- Ensure that all rooms are cleaned and maintained according to hotel standards
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and coordinate with purchasing department for replenishment
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and report any maintenance issues immediately
- Respond promptly to guest requests or complaints regarding housekeeping services
- Maintain records of housekeeping activities, such as room occupancy rates, guest requests, and maintenance orders
- Collaborate with other departments such as front desk and maintenance to ensure smooth operations throughout the hotel
- Enforce safety standards and procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in housekeeping management role in a hotel setting
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and motivate a team
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Knowledge of basic computer programs such as Microsoft Office
