Junior Librarian - Abu Dhabi, UAE


We are in search of a passionate and dedicated Junior Librarian to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As a Junior Librarian, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the library, including but not limited to organizing and cataloging books, assisting library patrons with research and inquiries, and maintaining the cleanliness and order of the library.

Requirements:
- Must be a Malayalee with knowledge of Malayalam language
- No prior experience required
- Passion for books and literature
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities:
- Assist in organizing and cataloging books using the Dewey Decimal System
- Provide assistance to library patrons with research, finding materials, and answering inquiries
- Maintain the cleanliness and order of the library shelves, tables, chairs, etc.
- Process new materials into the library system
- Conduct inventory of books on a regular basis
- Assist with planning and implementing library events and programs

Salary:
Starting salary is 1600$ per month.
