Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial activities of our company. Your main duties will include preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. You will also be responsible for managing the accounting team and providing guidance and support to junior accountants. This is a full-time position based in Al-Kuwait, with a salary of 1600$. We are specifically looking for candidates who are Egyptian nationals and have experience working as an accountant. A biometric passport is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards
- Manage the accounting team and provide guidance to junior accountants
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of financial records
- Handle tax reporting and other government filings
- Participate in strategic planning meetings with senior management

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an accountant
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Knowledge of Egyptian accounting regulations is preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under strict deadlines
