Livestock Specialist

As a Livestock Specialist, you will be responsible for the health and well-being of livestock in our farm located in Riyadh. Your main duties will include monitoring the animals' health, providing necessary vaccinations and treatments, and ensuring proper nutrition and living conditions. You will also be responsible for coordinating with veterinarians for specialized care and maintaining records of animal health.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the health of livestock on a daily basis
- Administer vaccinations and treatments as needed
- Ensure proper nutrition and living conditions for the animals
- Maintain accurate records of animal health, including medications and treatments given
- Collaborate with veterinarians for specialized care when necessary
- Identify and address any potential health issues or diseases within the herd
- Train and supervise farm workers on proper animal handling techniques
- Keep abreast of new developments in livestock health and implement best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with livestock, preferably in a farm setting
- Knowledge of common livestock diseases, vaccinations, and treatments
- Ability to handle large animals with care and confidence
- Good communication skills to work with other team members effectively
- Physically fit to perform manual labor as needed
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Salary: $1200 per month

Contract Type: This is a contract job with an initial duration of 1 year. The contract may be extended based on performance.
