Phlebotomist

A reputable medical facility in Al-Khor is seeking a qualified and experienced Phlebotomist to join our team. The ideal candidate should be a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for drawing blood from patients for medical testing or transfusions. This position requires someone who is comfortable working with needles, has good hand-eye coordination, and can work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and explain the blood drawing process
- Verify patient information before drawing blood
- Sterilize equipment and ensure a clean and safe environment
- Properly label collected blood samples for processing
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and test results
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Follow strict safety protocols to prevent contamination or infection
- Assist in maintaining inventory of supplies and reordering when necessary

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in phlebotomy is preferred
- Experience working as a phlebotomist is a plus, but not required
- Must have excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed
- Comfortable working with needles and handling blood samples
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols for accuracy
- Good hand-eye coordination and ability to work well under pressure

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month for this contract position.
