Chemical Engineer - Process Improvement Specialist


As a Chemical Engineer - Process Improvement Specialist, you will be responsible for optimizing chemical processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity. You will use your strong analytical skills to identify areas for improvement and develop innovative solutions to streamline operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough analysis of current chemical processes and identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement new strategies to optimize process efficiency and reduce costs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and monitor their effectiveness
- Utilize statistical tools and methods to analyze data and identify opportunities for optimization
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in chemical engineering
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards in all process improvement initiatives

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role within the chemical industry
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Knowledge of statistical analysis tools such as Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma is preferred
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
- Willingness to work part-time hours without accommodation
