Courier Supervisor

We are in need of a dedicated and experienced Courier Supervisor to join our team in Dubai. As a Courier Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our courier services, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of packages and documents to our clients. You will also be responsible for managing a team of couriers, assigning routes and schedules, and monitoring their performance.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a courier or logistics company, with strong leadership skills and the ability to work well under pressure. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, while a degree in logistics or related field is preferred. The candidate must also have a valid driver's license, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the courier services department
- Assign routes and schedules to couriers
- Monitor the performance of couriers to ensure timely and efficient delivery
- Train new couriers on company policies and procedures
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, expenses, and other relevant data
- Evaluate current processes and suggest improvements for increased efficiency
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Keep track of inventory levels for supplies needed by couriers

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in logistics or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a courier or logistics company
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Customer service oriented with the ability to handle inquiries and complaints professionally
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

This is a contract position with an initial salary of 1300$, but opportunities for growth within the company are available for exceptional performers.
