Are you a detail-oriented and organized individual with a passion for books and information? We are seeking a Contract Librarian to join our library team in Sharjah, Egypt. As a Contract Librarian, you will be responsible for organizing and cataloging our library collection, assisting patrons with finding resources, and providing information literacy instruction. This is a contract position open to all nationalities, with no English language requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and catalog library materials using appropriate systems
- Assist patrons in finding resources and provide reference services
- Plan and conduct information literacy instruction sessions for library users
- Maintain accurate records of library transactions
- Collaborate with other librarians to develop and implement library policies and procedures
- Stay updated on current trends in library science and implement new technologies or services as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- 1+ years of experience working in a library setting
- Proficiency in Arabic is preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of current library technologies, systems, and tools

This is a contract position with a salary of 1200$ per month. The duration of the contract will be determined upon hiring.
