Executive Chef - Doha, Qatar
We are hiring an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food is being served to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Create menus and develop new dish recipes
- Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and other employees
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
- Maintain high standards of quality control for all food items
- Collaborate with restaurant management to plan and execute special events or menu changes
- Manage budgeting, costing, and pricing for all menu items
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Creativity in developing new dishes while also maintaining traditional favorites
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of food costs and ability to manage budgeting for menu items
- Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
Salary:
This position offers a competitive salary of 1400$ per month.
Location:
This position is located in Doha, Qatar. Relocation assistance may be provided for the right candidate.
