Waiter/Waitress (Malayalee) - English Speaking (Temporary)

We are a renowned restaurant in Dubai seeking a Malayalee waiter/waitress with excellent English speaking skills. This is a temporary position with the potential for long-term employment based on performance.

As a waiter/waitress, you will be responsible for taking orders and serving food and beverages to our guests. You must have previous experience in a similar role and be able to provide exceptional customer service. The ability to speak fluent English is essential for this role as you will be required to interact with guests from all over the world.

This position does not include accommodation, so we are looking for someone who is already based in Dubai or has their own accommodation arrangements. However, we do offer visa sponsorship for qualified candidates.

Job Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and seat them at their tables
- Present menus and take orders from guests
- Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately
- Provide recommendations and answer questions about menu items
- Handle cash transactions and process payments through POS system
- Ensure tables are cleared and reset efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of dining area and work station
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Handle customer complaints or issues effectively
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a restaurant setting
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are an asset)
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Malayalee nationality preferred but not required
- Must have a valid UAE residence visa or be eligible for sponsorship

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 900$ per month, in addition to tips and other benefits. The exact salary will be discussed during the interview process.
