Merchandiser

We are seeking an experienced Merchandiser to join our growing retail team in Sharjah. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning and implementing merchandise strategies to maximize sales and profitability. You will work closely with the buying team to select and purchase products, as well as monitor inventory levels and analyze sales data to make informed decisions about product placement and pricing.

Responsibilities:
- Develop merchandise strategies in line with company goals and objectives
- Conduct market research to identify trends and consumer preferences
- Collaborate with buying team to select and purchase products that align with company strategy
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock
- Analyze sales data to make informed decisions about product placement, pricing, and promotions
- Create attractive visual displays in stores to entice customers and increase sales
- Communicate regularly with store managers to discuss sales performance, stock levels, and marketing initiatives
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences
- Participate in trade shows and other events to showcase products

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a merchandiser or similar role in the retail industry
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with market research techniques
- Knowledge of current fashion trends
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule, including weekends
Salary for this position is $1200 per month. This is a contract job without accommodation provided.
