Egyptian Pastry Chef in Al-Rayyan
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Egyptian Pastry Chef to join our team in Al-Rayyan. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of delicious pastries and desserts that meet our high-quality standards. Your main goal will be to satisfy our customers' sweet cravings and provide them with memorable dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and present pastries and desserts according to recipes and food quality standards
- Create new and innovative pastry recipes while also maintaining traditional favorites
- Supervise and train junior pastry chefs in various techniques and methods
- Ensure that the kitchen is always clean, organized, and stocked with necessary ingredients
- Monitor food costs and work towards reducing waste while maintaining quality
- Collaborate with other chefs to develop seasonal menus
- Comply with all food safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current pastry trends
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a reputable restaurant or hotel setting
- Passion for creating delectable pastries using fresh, high-quality ingredients
- In-depth knowledge of baking techniques, measurements, temperatures, and flavors
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Team player with excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with other chefs and staff members
- Availability to work flexible schedules including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
- Egyptian nationality is preferred but not required
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1000$ based on your experience level.
