Junior Accountant


A well-established company in Al-Khor is seeking a Junior Accountant to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate should be a fresh graduate with a degree in Accounting or Finance. This is a contract position without accommodation, therefore candidates with their own visa and living in Al-Khor will be given preference.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
- Conducting daily accounting tasks such as data entry, reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable
- Monitor and maintain the company's financial records
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Prepare tax documents and assist with audits
- Keep track of expenses, budgets, and other financial transactions
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy of financial information
- Adhere to accounting principles and regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
- Proven work experience as an Accountant or similar role is a plus
- Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software (Quickbooks preferred)
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Own visa and currently living in Al-Khor preferred

Salary: 1800$ per month
