Indian Chef for a High-End Restaurant in Al-Khor, Qatar



A high-end restaurant in Al-Khor is seeking an experienced Indian Chef to join our team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating authentic Indian dishes and has a strong understanding of Indian culinary traditions.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes according to traditional recipes
- Create new and innovative dishes while maintaining the authenticity of the cuisine
- Ensure high quality and consistency in food preparation and presentation
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including sous chefs, line cooks, and kitchen assistants
- Manage inventory and control costs by minimizing waste and monitoring stock levels
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhere to all food safety standards and regulations

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Indian Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine, ingredients, spices, cooking techniques, and cultural traditions
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- High level of creativity with the ability to develop new dishes while also maintaining traditional recipes
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of 1500$ per month for this full-time position.
