Merchandising Specialist



We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Merchandising Specialist to join our team in Hawalli. As a Merchandising Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and implementing merchandising strategies to increase sales and ensure a positive customer experience. Your role will involve conducting market research, analyzing sales data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop effective merchandising plans.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the industry
- Analyze sales data to determine product performance and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to develop merchandising plans
- Create visually appealing product displays that align with brand guidelines
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking or discontinuing products
- Ensure all products have accurate pricing and promotions are correctly advertised
- Train store employees on product knowledge and proper merchandising techniques
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure compliance with merchandising standards
- Communicate regularly with vendors to coordinate product deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in merchandising or retail management
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with visual merchandising principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Salary: $1400 per month (negotiable based on experience)
