Housekeeping Manager


We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel in Al-Rayyan. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for managing a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction, and maintaining inventory and supplies. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and scheduling of housekeeping staff
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met
- Maintain inventory and order necessary supplies
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- Handle guest complaints or special requests related to housekeeping
- Monitor budget and expenses related to housekeeping department
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Conduct performance evaluations for housekeeping staff
- Implement health and safety protocols within the department

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Housekeeping Manager or similar role in a hotel setting
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and inventory management
- Ability to handle guest complaints with professionalism
and resolve issues promptly
- Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality management or related field is preferred
