Indian Pastry Chef (Riyadh, Saudi Arabia)

We are in search of a skilled and experienced Indian Pastry Chef to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and creating a variety of desserts and baked goods, following traditional Indian recipes and techniques. You will also be responsible for managing the pastry kitchen, maintaining inventory, and ensuring food safety standards are met. The ideal candidate must have previous experience working as a Pastry Chef in an Indian restaurant or bakery, strong knowledge of Indian desserts and pastries, and the ability to lead a team. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and create various Indian desserts and pastries according to traditional recipes
- Manage the pastry kitchen, including ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, and ensuring cleanliness
- Train and supervise other kitchen staff on pastry techniques and recipes
- Ensure all food safety regulations are followed at all times
- Collaborate with other chefs to create new dessert menu items that reflect the cultural diversity of our restaurant
- Keep up-to-date with current trends in pastry making techniques and ingredients

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in an Indian restaurant or bakery
- Strong knowledge of traditional Indian desserts and pastries
- Ability to lead a team effectively
- Excellent time management skills to ensure orders are completed efficiently
- Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Knowledge of food safety regulations

Salary: 1600$ per month (tax-free)
