Instrument Technician


A well-established company in Jeddah is seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join their team. This is a contract position with a salary of 1700$. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various instruments used in industries such as oil and gas, manufacturing, and healthcare.

Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance on instruments and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments and make necessary repairs
- Calibrate instruments according to industry standards
- Install new instruments and equipment as needed
- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure proper functioning of equipment
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and new technologies related to instrumentation

Requirements:
- Diploma or certification in Instrumentation Technology or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician in a similar role
- Familiarity with various types of instruments used in different industries
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred:
- Experience working with biometric passports or other security-related instruments
- Knowledge of Arabic language for effective communication with local suppliers
