Head Pastry Chef
We are a luxury hotel located in Dubai, seeking an experienced and creative Head Pastry Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delectable desserts and pastries that exceed our guests' expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire pastry department, including training and supervising staff
- Develop new menu items and seasonal offerings
- Ensure high quality and consistency in all pastries and desserts served
- Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients and supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Pastry Chef, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
- Culinary degree or certification preferred
- Extensive knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and flavor combinations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
We offer a competitive salary of 1200$ per month, along with other benefits such as health insurance, accommodation, and yearly flight tickets. This position is open to all nationalities; however, those with experience in Indian or Pakistani cuisine will be given preference.
