Pastry Chef
As a Pastry Chef in Dubai, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of desserts, pastries, and breads. Your role will involve overseeing the pastry department and ensuring that all baked goods are made to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new pastry and dessert recipes according to client preferences and dietary restrictions
- Supervise and train junior pastry chefs in proper techniques and procedures
- Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients to ensure freshness and availability
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety standards
- Collaborate with other chefs in menu planning to offer a diverse selection of pastries and desserts
- Attend food expos and events to showcase your creations and promote the restaurant
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, preferably in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Proficient knowledge of different types of desserts, pastries, and breads from different cultures
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Creative mindset with a passion for experimenting with new flavors
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English is required, knowledge of other languages is an asset
Salary: $1200/month (tax-free)
